Our Trainers

Rachel Aldridge
Rachel spent ten years in London working for ITV, working her way through the ranks to become Producer/Director on a number of factual and entertainment programmes. Since moving back to Suffolk she has worked as a Suffolk-based location manager and location scout. She works part-time for Screen Suffolk, the county’s official film office, supporting and promoting filmmaking in the county.
Jim Horsfield
Jim has worked in the TV industry for 20 years as a music documentary director/editor and specialised in global touring, creating live custom content for bands and electronic artists. Since 2017 he has worked for Screen Suffolk as a Film Officer managing the Film Office in Suffolk permitting and enabling filming for incoming Production Companies.
Guest Speakers
We host an array of industry professionals as guest speakers. From Location Managers, to Film Service Managers, and Set Ready alumni who are carving out successful career paths for themselves. Our guests share invaluable insight and expertise, and our trainees are given space to ask any questions they might have during a dedicated Q&A.

Our board

Belinda Peach
Belinda, our Set Ready Manager, has over 20 years’ experience working in the Film, TV and Media talent and skills sector. Based in the Northwest Belinda has supported and developed positive partnerships with a whole host of organisations and charities in the Film, TV, and Media Sector including the Ideas Foundation, ScreenSkills, the Northern Film Offices, MAMA Youth and the Manchester trade association the MPA.
Karen Everett
Karen began her career in the film industry doing various roles within production. She then moved on to become CEO of Filmfixer LTD and Apply4 Technology LTD in 2007. In 2016 Karen became the Managing Director of Screen Suffolk which offers the UK’s only county-wide ‘one-stop’ film service. In early 2020, she also took up the position of Director for LocationFinder.ai.
Andrew Pavord
Andrew began his career in films as a Location Manager on commercials and features in 1988. In 2004, he created FilmApp which is now used by many cities in the UK, USA and other countries. Currently, Andrew is the Founder and Chairman of FilmFixer Ltd and Apply4Technology Ltd. In 2021 Andrew also helped create The Generator Project, a non-profit company dedicated to replacing diesel generators on film sets and at events.
